Mosaics

A few years ago, I spent the weekend at my friend's house at the beach. She left a mosaic book on the coffee table for me to browse. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting. I was hooked.

By the end of that same week, I was already teaching myself the art of broken-china mosaics. It is so much fun and since we are completely re-landscaping the fixer upper we bought a few years ago, I have more than enough surface area to display my art. Right now my focus is mosaic stepping stones for all the gravel paths. Next will be fountains everywhere.
